What’s behind door number 1

It’s my birthday! Well, not mine, Retronator’s. Exactly 1 year ago I officially registered it as a game development company.

But making games is hardly all I want to do. You might have noticed I like drawing, retro gaming and pixel art. I currently do these things in my free time, but what’s really my birthday wish is for Retronator to make something worth to you out of this.

I have 3 projects I want to work on, but I don’t have time to focus on all of them. There’s been quite some of you who’ve started following this blog through this last year and I’d love to do what you’re most interested in.

Here’s what’s behind door number 1:

Retro T-Shirt Wars

I own a very cool t-shirt that Retro Gamer magazine made back in the days. Here I am together with the computer that inspired the design of it:

Unfortunately they don’t make the tees any more (or those computers for that matter :)) and mine is getting kinda washed out. So I decided to make a new one.

I recreated the design, put it up in an online shop, but it doesn’t stop there! Instead of only catering to the ZX Spectrum fans I’m extending the design line to include other memorable machines of the past. Each design will come with its historical rival, so for example, the Spectrum gets to face the C64 yet again.

I still need to upgrade the designs for better quality printing and create a nice illustration for the store front to help promote the designs. If you’d love to see this project see the light of day first, be sure to vote for it.

Or:

I’ve put up a voting box on my Facebook page, but you can also just tell me here: which project are you most interested in?

What do you want to do?
